Surprise, it's October!
Can you believe it's already October?? In our state, the ballots get sent out on October 13!! That is SEVEN days from now and there are lots of ways we can all contribute - this is a crucial time for us. Check your candidate's website for information on their events. Please don't assume that these phone banks are filling up or that someone else is doing the tedious work of campaigning. (NOTE: Any candidate that would like me to send out information about their events should email me at redistributingknowledge@gmail.com with the subject line of "CANDIDATE EVENT - the date.") This is not a complete list of events, but I will send out a few more later tonight. Please keep an eye out for these emails and forward them on to your friends and family.

From the Heartland Institute:
The Patriot's Toolbox
FREE! Just go here: http://www.heartland.org/PatriotsToolbox
This is "a 263-page book that consists of eight chapters, each presenting ten principles for free-market reform in clear and precise English. Each chapter originally appeared in the Legislative Principles series, which means they are specially designed and edited to meet the needs of busy elected officials and opinion leaders. No rhetoric, no history lessons, and no long-winded lectures. Just solid facts backed up with bibliographies."

SAVE THE DATES!
The details are not set yet, but FreedomWorks is organizing a phone banking blitz and neighborhood walking effort for Dino Rossi on October 18th and 19th. If you can, take one of the days off work and if you have a more flexible schedule, please, please save these two days for get-out-the-vote efforts. This is a vital, vital time period because people just received their ballots by the 18/19th and we want to be able to influence their votes.
