In an article linked to on the Shooters Northwest board (NRA says more gun control not a serious proposal | Political Headlines | Comcast), which is mostly about Wayne Lapierre saying just that, we learn that
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. ... said Tuesday that she will hold her own hearing on gun control because she was unhappy that three of the five witnesses testifying to the Judiciary panel on Wednesday are "skewed against us." Feinstein is a member of the committee.
Boo friggin' hoo. Perhaps you should take that as a clue that you ain't gonna win. Meanwhile, speaking of DiFi, Bill reminds us that Feinstein Laid It All Out Years Ago, Right In Plain Sight | Daily Pundit, in a post that quotes Robb Alan (Sharp as a Marble – On Feinstein’s bill), but concludes with this quote from Feinswine herself:
If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them . . . Mr. and Mrs. America, turn ‘em all in, I would have done it.
