It's funny and cute in a sickly weird way. I'm not offended, but I think a lot of people see the lever action as an icon of Faith. It's like a chopped and channeled hot-rod lever action!
Stainless, with plastic forend and butt, with rails, OK, fine. That collapsible M4-style butt is hideous, and I have to wonder if they really gained all that much storage space. (Although the adjustable length-of-pull may be handy.)
I hoped/thought that might be a Photoshopped joke. But I checked the Mossberg site.
