Counter-intuitively, you don't hold these things on the beach. You truck tons and tons of sand into a parking lot downtown. After you learn this (after getting lost heading for the wrong park...) it makes sense, that you would have more control and, well, security in a fenced off parking lot, but it was a surprise...
These things are amazing; especially considering that the medium is sand. Well, sand and water.
