Howard Dean on Military Experiance for the CinC

Who would you rather have in charge of the defense of the United States of America, a group of people who never served a day overseas in their life, or a guy who served his country honorably and has three Purple Hearts and a Silver Star on the battlefields of Vietnam?

Granted that Deano was talking about Jean Kerry, still, as is pointed out at Fort Hard Knox, McCain only one won Purple Heart. On the other hand, he has a Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, a Distinguished Flying Cross, and, oh, yes, a Legion of Merit.

I'm still no more enamored of McCain than I was before, but I still expect him to handle foreign affairs a helluva lot more capably than Obamamama. And, personally, that's what I want the most out of a President and Commander in Chief: Deal with furriners.
