Ha!

When Ratbane first came to live us, he was in such bad shape that he would not just take a catnap, he would sleep so soundly that we feared he had died.

So this latest from I Can Haz Cheezburger was a bit poignant for us:

Seriously, he was skin and bones, no whiskers, only guard hairs left in his pelt, and few of them, and the wound where his tail had been broken was still fresh.

So, while the "narkoleptuk kitteh" picture is cute, it makes us think of a young tomcat who was so relieved to be safe and (more or less) sound, well fed, and in an environment where he was treated well, that he could relax to the point that he could literally sleep like the dead. And try not to wish that those who did that to him, get the same back.
