I have a bad feeling about this...

I keep hearing people say how proud they are to live in a country where a man of mixed race can get elected. While I am also proud to be an American, I feel they are forgetting that His Imperial Majesty Elect Barack Hussein Obama, while meeting the strictest definition of "African American" (i.e., his daddy was from Africa) was, in fact, a child of privileg, not poverty; as Al Sharpton ( I think?) once said, "Obama has read about the Civil Rights Movement and thinks he knows all about it."

But, once again, LawDog sums up my overall feeling about The Ascension tomorrow. To Quote LD:
He is a gun-grabber; a closet Marxist; a liar; a snake-oil salesman; and the corruption of the Chicago Political Machine goes far deeper than the blood and bone in the man.
...
We will never see eye-to-eye -- and I will freely admit that I intend to spend the next four years exercising my First Amendment right to ensure that Mr. Obama doesn't get a second term in office -- but for the next day or so, I offer my congratulations to our new President; wish for him the best of luck and join him in praying for the blessings of Providence upon our mutual Nation.
Anent the bold text in the final sentence quoted: As noted in the first comment to Law Dog's post, hopefully, the cult of personality surrounding The Chosen One will not lead to an imposition of the loathed "Fairness Doctrine" to blogs.*

If so, well, I guess I'll be seeing you in prison.

*Be nice if it applied to the Mainstream Media, considering the way the MSM outlets all seem to approach The Obamessiah on their knees, mouth wash at the ready.
