Interesting Site

In my previous post, I linked to the site Open Congress. Interesting. Lets you "watch" and track specific bills, issues, congresscritters. You can indicate your preference on bills--as if the congresscritters give a rat what us peasants think--and even rate the congresscritters themselves, heh, heh, heh... (Gave Maria Cantwell a 30, higher than I would have, but she voted against the Bailout Bill the first go-round back in October. Patty Murray got a 10. Just say "No" to pork you socialist. Adam Smith gets a 60, he works hard for the troops, and vets, and nearly always voteds "properly" from the POV of us bitter clingers, but did vote for the bailout back in October both times. I don't live in Dave Reichart's district, but he gets a 100. "Baghdad Jim" McDermott gets a zero, as does "Represetnative for Life" Norm Dicks. Pretty bad when a socialist rag like the Seattle PI talks smack about a party hack like Dicks.)

Of course, a site which lets you post comments "to" a particular senator or representative is going to attract nutcases, so use discretion when checking the comments sections of your particular Senator Pluchbottom's page...

There's a tool you can imbed on your web page which allows you to show your support--or lack thereof--for specific bills, as well. See my previous comments re: Congresscritters and us peasants' opinions.
