The real, um, interesting thing is thatHeadless body in gutless press
February 15, 2009 Posted by Scott at 10:28 AMJohn Hinderaker offered "no comment" on the news story of the beautiful Muslim woman beheaded by her Muslim husband (described as "a prominent Orchard Park man") in upsate New York. Mark Steyn comments on the "muted" media coverage in "Headless body in gutless press." (Mark adapts his heading from the all-time classic 1982 New York Post headline: "Headless body in topless bar.")
...UPDATE: Glenn Reynolds names the photo caption of the year: "The couple in happier times, before Hassan removed his wife's head."
JOHN adds: And, finally, Roger Kimball, in an epic breach of political correctness, refers to Hassan's headchopping as "the full Muslim."
(murderer) Muzzammil Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.Once again, you just can't make this stuff up...
