I didn't make it...

...but there are some pics up at Moonblogging from the Anti-Porkulus protest in Seattle today.

More coverage at:
Sound Politics and My Own Side. (And a full gallery of these photos at Creative Flashes photography.)

The Seattle Weekly. I love the caption to the second-to-last photo, which is of the "progressive" who protested the protest by rendering a nazi salute: "A passing Seattle liberal saw a rally and naturally assumed the show was about him. After haranguing everyone for nearly two minutes, he saluted the crowd in true National Socialist fashion."

And the ever-irrepressible Michelle Malkin has some pics, too. If I had known MM was going to spring for barbecued pulled pork for everyone, I might have played hooky from work. It is not too late to get to Denver, where The Annointed One is going to be singing The Porkulus Bill today and MM is sponsoring her own demonstration. (And, in fact, Mrs. Drang had the day off and made pulled pork for us!)

Snark Patrol: Another Conservative Seattle blog I hadn't known about...

Yet another: American Typo. Maybe Seattle isn't the bastion of communism I thought, even if FDR, of all people, did refer to it as "the Soviet of Seattle."
