Something in the stars...

Sometimes, ya gotta wonder...

Is there something about certain dates? Not necessarily "the stars", per se, but...

For instance, on this date in 1915 the initial battle of the Gallipoli Campaign, a naval assault, took place.

In 1943, The Battle of Kasserine Pass.

And, in 1945, the US Marines landed on Iwo Jima.

Rationally, there are only 365 (or 6) days in a year, and thousands of years of history, but sometimes it seems uncanny.

Sure am glad I'm not superstitious...
