Update to Gun-related bills

This sounds familiar--Senate version of HR197--and says it was introduced in April, but it was not listed last time I checked.
Respecting States Rights and Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2009
A bill to amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to allow citizens who have concealed carry permits from the State in which they reside to carry concealed firearms in another State that grants concealed carry permits, if the individual complies with the laws of the State.
Sponsored by Jim Thune, R-SD, and co-sponsored by 22 other senators, including one Democrat! (Mark Begich, of Alaska, go figure.)

And, of course, Lautenberg periodically crawls out from under his rock and disgraces DC, as if it could get any worse:
A bill to increase public safety by permitting the Attorney General to deny the transfer of firearms or the issuance of firearms and explosives licenses to known or suspected dangerous terrorists.
As pointed out by other comentators in other fora, why is the Terror Watch List a Bad Thing except when it comes to guns? Cuz, let's face it, Osama ain't getting his stuff from Joe's Gun Store, or at the monthly gun show, either. Any tango who's gearing up that way is small falafel, will attract attention by bulk purchases, and will probably run afoul of Joe Sixpack and his concealed carry piece.
