WOW!

Have been sitting around waiting for the promised break in the weather to start. About half an hour ago the temp dropped about 20 degrees and the wind started blowing.

Check out the byline for this event on Cliff Mass' Weather Blog:
All Hell is About to Break Loose
Thanks, Cliff, way to instill confidence...

He goes on:
Strong wind sand cooling temps have already pushed through Hoquiam, Shelton and Olympia and will enter the Sound during the next few hours. Temps will drop, winds will gust, wind chimes will ring, and a comfortable night of sleep beckons.
Dogs and cats, living in sin, a cow will give birth to a two-headed insurance agent...

Temp is supposed to top out about 15-20 degrees cooler tomorrow than it was today; if they weren't forecasting thunderstorms--something many Puget Sound area residents have never seen--I'd've put off mowing until then.
