Courtesy Liberty Belle, it develops that Congress Critter James "Baghdad Jim" McDermott has decided that the previously announced Town Hall meeting will be a closed door meeting for Democrats only.
Rep. Jim McDermott's supposed town hall on Wednesday is actually a private meeting for the 34th district Democrats. That's right. FOR DEMOCRATS ONLY! So, I guess he is admitting he doesn't give a crap about his constituents who are not Democrats. Wow. Some "representative."
So we are changing tactics. We are still going to show up, but we will stand outside with signs asking why he refuses to represent his other constituents and why he won't even meet with us. Call him out and demonstrate, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he is rotten to the core.

I was there, walked right in and nobody stopped me. There was a table with name tags, but it was widely assumed that those were for people who signed up in advance. There was no security. Before McD came in I and another photog were able to access the stage to get pics of the crowd (the stage was never used) and I was still in the 'backstage' area when Jim McD came down from upstairs. I got a few good pics of him talking w/ people before he entered the event. Again, no security at all. The counter-protestors were few, quiet,well-mannered and remained outside. With the exception of the man whose breath reeked of onions,
and the commies, it was an ordinary
event. (as in boring)
