...the Evergreen Freedom Foundation says that Washington voters will be asked to approve an income tax in November.

I predict that we'll overwhelmingly say "Not only 'no', but HELL NO!!!!!" and Olympia will ignore us and try to impose an income tax anyway, on top of already confiscatory sales, property, and B&O taxes.
