Letter to my congresscritters

More or less:
Dear Congresscritter

I’ll keep this simple, because I know that big words, and big concepts like "liberty" and "freedom", not to mention "enumerated powers", confuse you:
  • Vote “No” on the government takeover of Health Care.
  • Vote “No” on the government takeover of student loans.
  • Vote “No” on the government takeover, in the guise of further regulation, of the financial and banking sectors.
  • Vote “no” on Cap and Trade.
  • Vote “no” on card check.
The Federal Government is too big, you pestilent sack of dung, and as it grows larger, the freedom and independence of the American citizen shrinks in proportion.  As a retired soldier, it infuriates me to see what I served for so long, to be voted away on dubious causes.

Your constituent,
Drang

I included this photo.  If you can't make it out--my Photoshop-fu is admittedly weak--the tag reads "Tea Party 2010, Tuesday, 2 November."

Since my "other" senator is not up for re-election until 2012 I did one that says "Tea Party 2012, Tuesday, 6 November", just for her.

I sent copies to their Washington DC and local offices, as well.
