Woe are us?* 

How about, "Alas, Washington State"?

It's not enough those socialists on the Least Coast are spending (!) this weekend conspiring to kill American Health Care as we know it, and the economy to boot, but here in the evergreen State we also have the added pleasure of having our own home-grown socialists trying to figure out how to screw ever sou out of us.

• Longer special session expected - Sales tax increase the hang up
• House passes revised tax hike then takes a hike 
• Wash. House mulls tax hike on service businesses

So, first, we Washingtonians have to work out who's going to Olympia and who's going to "The Other Washington", and then we have to pass the hat to raise tar-and-feather money twice.

Life just ain't fair, I tell ya'...
