Gateway Pundit pointed me to an AP article which paints a pretty gloomy picture of the November Elections for Progressives/Demonrats.

The utter tone-deafness of these clowns gives a clue:

"I need your help once more," Obama says in a video message to backers, a plea that underscores the troubles for Democrats. "This year, the stakes are higher than ever," the president adds, warning that Republicans would "undo all that we have accomplished."

See what I mean?  His Imperial Majesty is unaware of the fact that "undoing all they have accomplished" is exactly what people are hoping will happen.

Here's another:

"With the battle lines already drawn for the 2010 election, voters will ultimately support candidates who are delivering results, reforming the system, bringing change to Washington, and getting things done, which is exactly what President Obama is doing," Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, said recently.

Maybe someone can corner Rahmmie in the locker room and explains the facts of non-Chicago life to him...

Look, I'm not sayin' it's a done deal, and it's always a mistake to take the American Electorate for granted.  Frankly, if the GOP does score big this fall it will be despite Michael Steele and the RNC, not because of them.  Obama's Cult of Personality carried into the Oval Office, but I doubt it will keep him there, and I, personally, doubt it will deliver the goods for him this fall.  It may not deliver a super-majority in the Congress for the Party of Stupid, but I am certain that the Party of Evil will no longer call the shots.

(Granted they are having a hard time calling the shots even with darned near a super-majority.)
