Military bloggers call for repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell

Daily Caller: Military bloggers call for repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.

I am pretty sure I've told the story of how, when the First Sergeant first read and described Don't Ask, Don't Tell, one young man in my company was outraged, positively incensed, that "You mean to tell me if my roommate's gay, I can't beat him up!?"

So I was inclined to support DADT at the time, even though I had realized years before that there is no job in the military in which one's sexual preference matters a bit.

Things have changed. There's a war on. Maybe we can't afford to deny good people an opportunity to serve because of their sexual preference.
