Plaintiffs challenge Proposition 8 under the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the 14th Amendment. Each challenge is independently meritorious, as Proposition 8 both unconstitutional {sic} burdens the exercise of the fundamental right to marry and creats {sic}an irrational classification on the basis of sexual orientation."Fundamental right to marry"? Sounds like an odd assertion,
One of the, um, interesting things about Prop. 8, of course, is the way the Lamestream Media all connived to blame the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints for it's passage, ignoring the preponderance of evidence that those who actually voted for it were actually the very people who voted His Imperial Majesty Barack Hussein Obama into office. It seems that the downtrodden minorities in America are not actually all that interested in Gay Rights...
Anyway. I hope that lots and lots of homosexuals get married, since His Imperial Majesty and his fellow demonrats are all intent on ending the "Bush Tax Cuts", and I would love to have folks who had not previously been allowed to marry be able to join me in paying the soon-to-be revived marriage tax penalty.
