Reading Zomblog today, I learned that the good people of the great state of Oklahoma recently passed at the polls (by a 70% "yes" vote) Question 755, "which bans Sharia law (and international law) from being used in the state’s legal system."
And was immediately sued by unindicted co-conspirator CAIR. And got the law held in abeyance in US District Court "until all lawsuits against it are resolved."
Zombie lists The Five Best Arguments Against Sharia in the United States. (All the appropriate links are there, too.) (Some of the comments are, um, interesting...)
