Armenia?  Really?  I don't think we've tried any Armenian wine... unless that's where that "bull's blood" comes from, and we bought that mostly for the, um, interesting bottles.

Of course, even 50 years ago the mere idea of drinking American wine would be risible...

Zynfandel and Shiraz come from the Armenian region, if I recall correctly. Something to do with grape genes being traced back to that area.
