The guy had taken time to produce graphics that conveyed actual information, but didn't busy them up with a gajillion bullet points that he was going to express verbally. I also helped that he'd occasionally hit a slide, then push past it saying, "Heck, you guys already know that or you shouldn't be in here." He also resisted the usual urge to cram in "interesting" and "humorous" slides to waste time.
Why is all that so hard for most folks to figure out?
