I feel particularly strongly about this, as I was stationed in Germany during the Balkans War, training up to be "Peacekeeper" in the "Low Intensity Conflict" ..... or some such hogwash. I watcjed the SkyNews reporting on the Srebrinica Massacre, which I had predicted.
I was also occupying Southern Iraq as Saddam's RG units were slaughtering rebellious shi'ites and Marsh Arabs while propaganda leaflets we had dropped encouraging them to rebel and promising our support were still blowing around at my feet.....
.... forgive me if I don't put a lot of stock in Government Promises.
