The short-barreled rifle bill died, despite near-unanimous support, evidently because the Democrat head of the Senate didn't want it to go forward.
So much for a Kris Vector carbine.
HB1840, ("Seattle Times: The proposal would require some gun owners with a restraining or protective order against them to temporarily surrender their firearms while the order is in effect, or face a felony") goes forward, after some additional oversight being added. GOAL's position on this is neutral.
