Somewhere in there someone started trying to quote statistics and probability. My contribution was that, statistically, as a law-abiding citizen with permit to carry, I can get away with no reloads, since most "defensive handgun uses" involve no shots fired. (Which makes the issue of capacity rather moot, which should not be taken as approval of capacity limits.)
Others were rather more vocal in pointing out the blatant misuse and abuse of statistics.
