Ever since I got the word that Todd L. Green had passed away this morning I have had the stanza about The Duke in my head:
It's strange: I never met or trained with Todd Green, but news of his passing has me all down. Now on the day that John Wayne died
I found myself on the continental divide
Tell me where do I go from here
Think I'll ride into Leadville and have a few beers
I think of "Red River" or "Liberty Valance"
Can't believe the old man's goneChorus:
But now he's incommunicado
Leavin' such a hole in a world that believed
That a life with such bravado
Was takin' the right way home
I dunno.
I guess I'll hit the range.
Then I'll hit up Rampage For The Cure!

So I hit the range. Did some Dot Torture drills and ran a few F.A.S.T. (Fundamentals, Accuracy, & Speed Test)s.
At least I got all the shots on paper.
I consistently dropped the second shot on the 3x5 square low on each FAST. Times were pretty much irrelevant, since my timer is an app on my cell phone, and since I wasn't drawing from a holster.
On the Dot Torture, well, I got all the shots on paper...
Did run into one of the regulars from Pistol Forums, which was cool.
Here's Tamara's post: Loss.
Noooo!!! Aww s#*t. :-( First Louis, and now Todd. I'll never be able to take a class from him...
Another sad loss. May he Rest In Peace.
