Southwest Interior-Seattle/Bremerton Area-

Winter Weather Advisory In Effect From 6 AM This Morning To 6 PM PST This Evening For The Seattle/Bremerton Area And The Southwest Interior

The National Weather Service In Seattle Has Issued A Winter Weather Advisory For Snow, Which Is In Effect From 6 AM This Morning To 6 PM PST This Evening.

Snow Will Develop Today Between 7 And 10 AM And Continue Until Mid Afternoon. A Transition To Rain Is Then Expected Late This Afternoon.

Along The I-5 Corridor Of King, Thurston And Lewis Counties, 1 Or 2 Inches Of Snow Accumulation Is Expected, Mainly Above 200 Feet.

Heaviest Snowfall Will Occur Over The Kitsap Peninsula West Of Puget Sound, Where 2 To 4 Inches Of Accumulation Is Expected In The Bremerton Area.

A Winter Weather Advisory Means That Periods Of Snow, Sleet, Or Freezing Rain Will Cause Travel Difficulties. Be Prepared For Slippery Roads And Limited Visibilities, And Use Caution While Driving.
