Washington's Hoplophobe Mayors

The post about Wal-Mart signing an agreement with Noo Yawk's Mayor Bloomberg and his Hoplophobic pals led to my looking up Washingtonian Mayors in bed with him as well. besides, everybody else is doing it:

• Auburn, Peter B. Lewis
• Bremerton, Cary Bozeman
• Seattle, Greg "Soon-to-be-out-of-a-job" Nickels
• Tacoma, Bill Baarsma
• Vancouver, Royce Pollard
• Yakima, David Edler

So we're better off as far as this goes than several states, but doing worse than a few.

FWIW, I note that Auburn, Bremerton, Tacoma, and Yakima are towns with a military presence. (I don't think Vancouver barracks even has any active duty any more. I could be wrong.)
