Seriously?

What I find breathtakingly stupid about government sometimes is it's tone-deafness.  For example, we have the "Obama's Gonna Ban Fishing!" thing going around, which I commented on brought up here.

I only "brought it up" because it seemed to me that even His Imperial Majesty Barack Hussein Obama I was not stupid enough to employ people who would let the concerns stand without commenting, explaining, maybe adding one or two members of the sports/recreation fishing community to the board...

Apparently not.

Instead, they leave it up to their pet "journalists" to simply make fun of the knuckle-dragging redneck Tea Partiers who worry about such silly things.

This will not end well--for them.
