Happy Guy Fawkes Day.

Guy Fawkes, of course, is the most well-known member of the cabal that wanted to blow up the House of Lords in an attempt to restore Catholicism as the state religion of England, back in 1605.  Nowadays, especially in the US, the name is better known as the "hero" of the graphic novel and movie "V" for Vendetta.  In which he is depicted as a terrorist.

So, really, no change in his status in 400 years.
