The Man from Planet X (1951) - IMDb AMC's synopsis says "Alien asks Earthlings for help, gets blasted by bazookas."
They leave out the really horrendous sets, the even worse FX, and the fact that the "help" the alien asks for is to assist his "dying planet" invading Earth...
